Envirium Life Sciences is proud to announce the appointment of its co-CEO, Dimitri Moreels, as a board member of the Virunga Foundation (Belgium). Created in 2005, the Foundation supports the protection of Virunga National Park's biodiversity, as well as the local communities bordering the park in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

As a co-shareholder of Virunga Origins (Belgium) and Virunga Chocolate (DRC), cocoa, chocolate, coffee and chia seeds company whose profits are entirely allocated to the park and neighbouring communities, Envirium Life Sciences is pleased to be given this opportunity to reinforce its relationship with the Park as well as with the local smallholders and their families.

This nomination also rewards Dimitri Moreels' deep involvement in this region where he’s been working for more than 20 years, both through Copak, subsidiary of Envirium Life Sciences in the DRC, Virunga Origins and Virunga Enzymes, both entities co-shared with the Park.
