Nancy began her career as a scientist working in United Kingdom, Belgium, Australia and in Papua New Guinea (PNG) 27 years ago.
Nancy is a dedicated conservationist and promoter of green growth, working together with landowners to support them protecting their rainforest and finding a sustainable living. She is keen at developing a holistic approach which facilitates banking services, microloans, climate aware planting, environment and conservation management, health, covid-19 awareness and business training.
In the last three years, she has developed agricultural technology, enabled 4,500 people previously “invisible people” to be banked. She leads a consortium that has developed the first digital rural loan for the Pacific that Kamapim staff can deliver remotely through mobile phones.
Nancy works together with government departments to provide regulatory and business training to farmers and to promote PNG sustainable products with the PNG Department of Foreign Affairs.
