Congratulations to our partner Dominique Persoone! He has been named Flemish Chocolatier of the year by Gault & Millau. Well-deserved!
We are proud to say that Dominique has trained the Virunga Origins team in the fine art of chocolate and formulated our exquisite recipe. His dedication, expertise, work and kindness made the difference and helped us create our Bean-to-Bar Chocolate.
All profits are reinvested into the conservation of the Virunga Park and the surrounding communities. Besides the pleasure of tasting, each bite helps create more value for the farmers, the rangers and the gorillas. That’s what why we call it Double Happiness Bean-to-Bar Chocolate!
